About The Work
ServiceNow is shifting toward an AI-native experience model while expanding its capabilities in the BI and analytics space. The Platform Analytics design team sits at the center of that shift, designing experiences for business users across the ServiceNow platform and producing components used by designers across the company. We are also integrating different analytics tools into the platform, which adds meaningful systems complexity to the work.
Scope of Work
The designer will be an important addition to the team, contributing across the following workstreams alongside the Senior Design Manager and team designers:
Solution Design: Contribute to the end-to-end design of analytics experiences including data visualization interfaces, dashboard and reporting flows, and configuration experiences. Help bring structure to complexity and push the quality of solutions forward.
Requirements and Problem Framing: Participate actively in requirements collection with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders. Help translate ambiguous needs into clear design direction.
Tool Integration: Be part of the team navigating the integration of different analytics capabilities into the platform. This requires systems thinking and strategic judgment; your perspective will help the team move confidently through new and uncharted territory.
AI-Native Experience Design: Contribute to shaping the AI-native layer of Platform Analytics including proactive insights, conversational interactions, and agentic flows, helping the team evolve its approach as the product moves in this direction.
Cross-team Collaboration and Enablement: Work alongside other design teams across ServiceNow who build on Platform Analytics components. Help them apply patterns confidently and correctly.
Organization and Alignment: Help keep cross-functional work moving, support design decision alignment, and contribute to presenting well-reasoned work to leadership with openness to iteration and feedback.
