As an Entry-Level Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our procurement process, supporting the purchasing of goods and services essential for our technology operations. You will gain hands-on experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships under the guidance of senior buyers. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to learn the fundamentals of strategic sourcing within a dynamic technology environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist buyers in the procurement of a variety of materials, components, software, and services.
  • Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update procurement records and databases.
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, clarify specifications, and track order status.
  • Support the resolution of invoice discrepancies and receiving issues.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives within the purchasing department.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).   
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.   
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.   
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and eager attitude to learn the procurement process within the technology industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems.
  • Basic understanding of contract terms and conditions.
  • Interest in the technology industry.
