What you get to do in this role:
- Help define and evolve the experience vision for the internal implementation of SOM (Sales and Order Management) in alignment with business and user needs.
- Work closely with business, product, engineering, and XD partners to define requirements and turn business needs into simple, high-quality user experiences.
- Collaborate with fellow designers to ensure a cohesive and unified end-to-end experience across the entire SOM ecosystem.
- Produce design deliverables, including user flows, process flows, sketches at various levels of fidelity, wireframes, journey maps, service blueprints, documentation of the results of design-related meetings, and annotations and documentation for design deliverables.
- Go beyond designing for individual screens and features to consider the broader systems and ecosystems at play, designing for entire journeys and the operational realities behind them.
In order to qualify for and be successful in this role, you should have:
- You take a goal-centered approach to your designs and have a good grasp of design-thinking methodologies, using empathy and critical thinking to understand and frame problems.
- You are an effective communicator who can clearly and concisely communicate ideas, perspectives, user research, design problems, and design solutions in a diplomatic and persuasive manner.
- You can contribute to multiple projects (at various stages) concurrently, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced agile environment.
- You can collaborate and negotiate, weighing trade-offs between user impact and levels of effort while still ensuring quality work.
- You can easily move between considering the forest and paying attention to the trees.
- You are comfortable working with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and cross-functional dependencies.
- You can operate at both a strategic and executional level, influencing product direction while delivering high-quality design work.
- 10+ years of relevant design experience.
- Strong knowledge of UX best practices including mobile-first, responsive design and accessibility standards.
- An inspiring portfolio that demonstrations systems thinking, service design, and end-to-end product experience.
- Skilled in Figma and experienced working within design systems and the challenges of out of the box solutions.
Bonus Points
- Deep understanding of sales processes, seller workflows, and the needs of GTM (go-to-market) teams.
- Experience designing tools for sales reps, managers, and/or revenue operations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar enterprise sales platforms.
