Duties

• Conduct regular stand-ups and weekly team meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Provide daily oversight of development activities, ensuring timely progress and adherence to project timelines.
• Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues, blockers, and risks.
• Review project plans, sprints, and deliverables regularly to maintain delivery schedule.
• Coordinate closely with Product Management and QA to ensure engineering deliverables align with business priorities and quality standards.
• Manage resource allocation and workload balancing to maintain productivity and prevent burnout.
• Provide technical guidance and make architecture decisions in consultation with senior developers and architects.
• Facilitate technical reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Represent engineering in stakeholder meetings, providing clear updates on progress, issues, and dependencies.
• Maintain visibility into team productivity and proactively communicate status to leadership.
• Monitor engineering KPIs (e.g., velocity, quality, deployment frequency) and address any deviations promptly.
• Generate regular status reports summarizing team achievements, challenges, and upcoming objectives.

Skills

• 7-10  years of proven experience in Marketing technology and specifically in Adobe AEM and AEP
• Technical Leadership: Proven ability to manage and lead technical teams, making informed architecture and engineering decisions.
• Project Management: Strong experience managing agile development processes, timelines, and sprint cycles.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of clearly presenting technical information to diverse stakeholders.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with your specific tech stack, infrastructure, and development methodologies (e.g., Adobe technologies, Cloud services, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps principles).
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Demonstrated experience addressing technical challenges proactively and strategically, with a focus on timely resolution and delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: Comfortable representing engineering teams in cross-functional discussions, aligning technical deliverables to business objectives.
• Metrics & Reporting: Competent in tracking engineering productivity metrics and generating accurate progress reports.
