What you get to do in this role:

Negotiation & Contract Management:

·       Support and lead negotiation of contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing, delivery, and service levels.

·       Assist in managing vendor contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and performance metrics.

·       Data Analysis & Reporting:

·       Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and supply chain risks.

·       Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key sourcing metrics, supplier performance, and cost savings.

·       Collaboration & Communication:

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

·       Communicate sourcing strategies and initiatives to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.

·       Compliance & Ethical Standards:

·       Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

·       Assist in the development and implementation of sustainable sourcing practices.

 

In order to qualify for and be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement. Experience in Marketing or Professional Services is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms).
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Familiarity with cost modeling, sourcing strategies, and market trends.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers at a high speeds.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Marketing and/or Professional Services in a procurement environment is a plus
  • Certification in supply chain management or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CPSD, or CIPS).
  • Experience with RFx Tools
  • Knowledge of supplier diversity and sustainability practices.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and build relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field is a plus.

    • Does this position have the opportunity to extend beyond the initial contract or convert to FTE?  There is always a possibility, but this is a contract position.
